Introduction

My name is Vivek Shah, and I am a self-learned photographer based in Cambridge, UK. I have photography experience in many countries where I travelled and stayed for work and pleasure. I love to capture memories in different lighting condition.

Way back in late 90’s, I developed interest in photography as a hobby. I experimented learning photography through books and magazines, reading thru SLR camera manuals; Those days were very different than what we have today, film rolls with different ISO and we have to wait for the roll to develop to see the results of your efforts. Photography was a luxury and needed lot of patience.

All these years, I kept on working on different assignments as hobby, collaboration, giving back to society. I am always interested in capturing different dimensions of life, events, people, architecture, fashion, candid moments, festivals, sports, capturing different cultures, people etc.

I spend some good amount time to understand the situation, then planning for every single assignment as it is extremely important for me is to get familiar to the need and expected results. I always keep it transparent to develop a sense of collaboration to make it a good experience and learn something during each of my engagement.

This is also a mode of giving back to society and making some beautiful memories of society where we live.
